# Connect Your Calendar

> Set your availability and link your personal calendar

The AI can only book appointments during times you've marked as available. Getting this right before your first lead comes in is important.

## Setup Steps

<Steps>
  <Step title="Accept your CRM invite">
    Check your email for an invite from `noreply@replies.acct-mgmt.com` and accept it. This gives you access to your CRM account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set your availability and timezone">
    In your CRM, go to **Settings → Calendars → Availability**. Set your schedule and make sure your timezone is correct.

    A few things to set:

    * **Available days** - which days of the week you take calls
    * **Available hours** - your working hours per day (e.g. Mon–Fri, 9 AM – 5 PM)
    * **Timezone** - make sure this matches where you actually are

    <Tip>
      Don't forget to click **Save** in the top right when you're done. Refresh the page before moving on to make sure the changes stuck.
    </Tip>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect Google Calendar">
    Go to **Settings → Calendars → Connections → Add New → Google Calendar** and log in with your Google account.

    Once linked, click **Advanced Settings** and:

    * Enable **Two Way Sync** - any blocked time on your Google Calendar (calls, lunch, personal appointments, etc.) will automatically block off in the CRM, so the AI never books you during those times
    * Leave **Execute Automation** unchecked

    <Tip>
      If you use Calendly and it's already connected to the same Google Calendar you're linking here, you don't need to link Calendly separately. The two-way sync with Google Calendar will already reflect any time Calendly has blocked.
    </Tip>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save your changes">
    Save everything and head back to your onboarding dashboard to mark this step complete.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  The more available you are, the better this works. The AI can only offer times your calendar has open - if you have a narrow window, leads will have fewer options and some won't book. Wide availability = more appointments.
</Tip>

## Tips

* **Block your lunch.** If you don't want midday bookings, block a recurring lunch slot.
* **Check your timezone.** A misconfigured calendar timezone is the most common reason contacts get called at the wrong time. Make sure your CRM calendar timezone matches where you actually are.
* **Block personal time.** Vacation days, doctor appointments - if it's in your Google/Outlook calendar, it'll automatically block in the CRM once sync is connected.

<Warning>
  If you skip setting your available hours, the AI will tell contacts there are no available times. Do this before your first lead comes in.
