# Tag Reference

> All tags used in the system and what they do

Tags are how the system knows which workflow to enroll a contact in. They're used during lead imports and in your CRM to control automations.

## Niche Tags

Add the appropriate tag when importing leads or setting up a lead order. Fresh and aged leads use different tags.

| Niche                  | Fresh Leads       | Aged Leads        |
| ---------------------- | ----------------- | ----------------- |
| Final Expense          | `fex`             | `fex aged`        |
| Veteran Final Expense  | `vet`             | `vet aged`        |
| Mortgage Protection    | `mortgage`        | `mortgage aged`   |
| Trucker Life Insurance | `trucker`         | `trucker aged`    |
| Ethos Abandoned Carts  | `ethos abandoned` | `ethos abandoned` |
| IUL                    | `iul`             | `iul aged`        |

## Control Tags

| Tag      | What It Does                                            |
| -------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| `ai off` | Turns the AI off for that contact. Remove to re-enable. |
